Regarding the ADC Asgard Hardware we have no fatal failures to report, no burnouts at all! :-). It seems like we should begin to pack the media for the general release phase.
buy’ngop! (Thatās great news!)

Changed the sensor connectors to PCB, mechanical force at the joint was not good with the former socket.Ā The new socket is working fine, it’s a SIL through hole straight socket. We have noticeĀ of thisĀ variant being built and performing fine.
17th July
Assembly and test started, so far the sensors measurements are ok.
13th July
The PCB arrived. It fits into the enclosure, that’s a good start :-). We will start the prototype assembly ASAP.
17th June
3D printed parts arrived. They look fine, we will see if everything fits in well.
Also, a 3D printed AOA probe arrived.
3rd June
Sent out files for 3D print (click on name for onlineĀ 3D model)
ASG-001 – Asgard – Base With Manifold – 03062017
ASG-002 – Asgard – Upper Enclosure – 03062017
Sent out printed circuit board for manufacturing
1st June
We selected barbed fittings CN-M3-PK-2 by Festo for the pneumatic connections inside the ADC enclosure, we use silicon tube to connect with the sensors. Fittings look fine and will be tested prior to the enclosure case 3D print.

We are working on the PCB layout, no critical layout. The main requirement is that the soldering process should be really simple and necessary tools should be cheap and widespread available. It is possible to use Bluetooth modules from HC-05, HC-06, and BlueSmirf families.
13th May
The system for remote SD management is under test. It is alive.
Initializing SD card...initialization done.

We’ve received a very cheap HC-05 BT module. We will use it and eventually use it within the Asgard.
1st May
We’re experimenting with different possible layouts for the ADC. For thisĀ release, it should be lovely to leave to the user the possibility to select among two different Bluetooth modules. Dimensions are shrinking.
28th April 2017
Libraries renewed. Minimal working firmware code for ADC Asgard is ready. Test phase started. Here below you find a video of a typical communication between ADC Asgard and a remote device via USB port.(comm strings here)
19th April 2017
18th April 2017
Breadboard finished. Tested SDCard, using standard libraries. Added temperature sensor and Bluetooth module. Each component was tested on its own.
17th April 2017
Absolute and differential pressure sensor hookup. Note that boothĀ pressure sensor provides also a temperature reading.
16th April 2017
First simple test of Teensy and Temperature sensor. The firmware used on this test has been published here.
10th April 2017
Teensy 3.6Ā with pins and temperature sensor TMP36GT9Z arrived from Watterott.com.
