Introduction
Air data can be used in a wide range of situations. That generic term encompasses different measurements from heterogeneous equipment. Typically sensor data reduction is carried out inside a unit called Air Data Computer or shortly ADC, Flow Computer or with similar names depending on the field of application. Simpler units may report only atmospheric pressure and temperature, most complex units may report air data compensated with inertial measurement units. What kind of sensors are needed and overall measurements uncertainty depends on the user-specific application. In general, the ADC is a component of an Air Data System.

A library of common calculation routines is maintained by BasicAirData on GitHub. The library can be used for real-time or for offline data process.
